Our Story
A canopy, a hillside, a cup with a real sense of place
SIAM CANOPY began with a simple conviction: that coffee should taste of where it comes from. So we grow it under the shade of the highland canopy in Northern Thailand, roast it close to where it was picked, and send it straight to Sweden — no shortcuts, no compromise.

The Highlands of Northern Thailand
Where mist, altitude, and canopy shape every cherry
Our Arabica coffee grows high in the mountains of Northern Thailand, beneath the protective shade of the forest canopy. The altitude brings cool nights. The canopy filters the sun. The rich highland soil holds moisture through the dry months.
Together, these conditions slow the ripening of the coffee cherries — and slow ripening is what builds depth, sweetness, and complexity into every bean. It is the terroir of the Thai highlands, and it is the foundation of everything we roast.
The Craft
How we turn highland cherries into your morning brew
Shade-grown
Cultivated beneath the highland canopy, where filtered sunlight and cool nights slow the ripening. That slower maturation is what builds depth and sweetness into every bean.
Handpicked at origin
Only perfectly ripe cherries are picked, by hand, on the farms that know them best. No mechanical stripping, no green cherries — just select picking at peak ripeness.
Roasted in Thailand
Roasted close to where it was grown, in small batches, so what travels to Sweden is fresh and traceable. Close-to-origin roasting means better flavour and a shorter journey from crop to cup.
The People
Built by people who care about the journey
SIAM CANOPY is founded by Ronaldo, a coffee lover who wanted Swedish cups to carry a real sense of place. The brand is built on relationships with the farmers who tend the highland canopy and the roasters who craft each batch — people who believe coffee should be traceable, honest, and worth the journey.
The corporate home is Binnerstedt Consulting AB, but the heart of the brand is on a shaded hillside in Northern Thailand — and in the cup that hillside becomes each morning in Sweden.
Why It Matters
An origin experience commodity coffee can't replicate
Most coffee on Swedish shelves is generic and origin-agnostic — roasted far from where it was grown, with no story beyond a country label. SIAM CANOPY is the opposite: single-origin, shade-grown, roasted in Thailand, and built direct-to-consumer for Sweden. You're not just buying coffee — you're buying a traceable, story-rich journey from canopy to cup.
